Punch-Out!! (Wii)

I think it looks pretty sweet--I want it when it comes out.

Anybody else looking forward to this, or have a positive or negative comment on this?

The closest I ever got to playing the series was in Warioware and I Wanna Be The Guy....

I like the graphics.

The control scheme sucks--it's too hard to make it recognize what movements you're making while punching. Actually, it's hard to make it recognize a hook punch, too .

Okay--my mom just bought it for me today, and I played up until before Don Flamenco (the champion) in the Major Circuit. This game is totally awesome--it is nothing like W.S. Boxing.

One cool thing is how the music changes with each opponent's background, e.g., Canadian Bear Hugger has a banjo theme and Japanese Piston Hondo (it's "Hondo" in this game) has...uh...Japanese theme .

This is win on several levels. Doc Louis is such a jerk--but he's a funny jerk! Tomorrow, I topple Spaniard and move onward...! (Did I mention that this game is also very funny and fun consecutively?)

He's finally back to kick Mac's tail.

Seriously? You're fighting Donkey Kong?

Eh, I'm not so much interested in those type of games, sure I'll play it but I doubt I'll like it. One thing I've noticed is that most games that look like crap apparently turn out good upon release...

Anyway look at :19 - :26 isn't that a bit cheap...

Yes, DK. Doc Louis has difficulty believing it, too...he also wants Mac to steal his bananas so Doc Louis can make a sundae .

Also, i don't recall DK being in the NES Punch-Out, a nice addition I suppose.

Okay Golden Ike, I see two possibilities.

For one, you're joking around with me and the fact that the latest title does not have any specifications in its...title, thus meaning it's hard to differentiate without specification, so when we discussed DK in Punch-Out!!....

Another is so unlikely that it can't be true, but you missed the "(Wii)" in the topic title.

Read my post again. I'm stating I don't recall DK being in the NES/SNES (don't remember which system) version of Punch-Out. I am then saying DK isn't a bad addition to the Wii version. I will appologize if I did not make myself clear.
