| There's actually a point in holidays... it's a day where people get an excuse to take the day off (or work giving days off, or school).
Christmas, Valentine, New's Year... they are all excuses to go out and buy something, good for the economy. Almost forgot about Halloween, Thanksgiving, and whatever else that I don't give a fuck because I'm half way thinking of going back to bed. Anyways, it's a good excuse to get something, or do something special. Something to look forward to.
Sure, you can turn a normal day into something, but which is a good day to turn? There is always anniversaries and birthdays and whatevers. | |

| holidays meant something at one point but they have been twisted so much most don't know what they are celebrating anymore.
Christmas, Jesus' birthday, we do the actions of a drunk and chop down a tree, stick it in our living room, and throw sh** on it and call it decorating.
Easter, Jesus' rebirth day, we celebrate with a mutant Bunny who lay eggs filled with candy.
July 4th, the war ended so we blow sh** up.
new years, the year ended so we blow sh** up.
Halloween, a pagan holiday, we steal candy from people.
thanks giving, something happened so we eat till we puke.
St. Patrick's day, people get drunk in the streets, where green for some reason, when Christians are supposed to where orange. or else people will assault them.
