| What is the thing that's most difficult to you, and have you overcome it? For me, it has to be the male body.... how does the chest part connect to the abdomen D; For the woman, it's after the breast.... but since guys don't have breast, how big are their chest? How do you weight the value of proportion?! What I have done to overcome that? Draw them in shirts, or have them hidden behind something to avoid it for the most part. ;P For most of my couples, the guy does not stand out, the woman does. I lied, it's hands. I suck at them. Lol! I kinda gave up towards the end for the first piece of art; I think I erased it a lot before saying fuck it. With the exceptional of these two ;D OC: Kasca and Chii. - Spoiler:

| For me, it would be keeping consistent proportions, especially when I try to draw someone in a pose of some kind.
But nothing an eraser and constant redrawing can't fix......

| Usually the face, hands, and feet. Oh and males, females are a thousand times easier. Though Tiduseya would argue against that. ;P | |

But nothing an eraser and constant redrawing can't fix...... I get to the point where the paper starts worning out on me XDD But yes, keeping proportion also is an issue with me, but only when I get to the ends of each limb (aka, hands and feet). - Soul wrote:

| I don't draw chibi, it aggravates me. Tiduseya has chibi covered. But yeah, most male drawings are tons more detailed than female drawings. Females are very simple to draw, not much detail, simple curves and lines, great end result. | |

| Males and females are generally the same, it's whichever you're more comfortable with. An artist who has been drawing guys will say drawing girls are hard, while an artist who loves drawing girls will say drawing guys are hard. It also depends on the style. Berserk = heavy detailed on males. Shoujo-manga = simple designs on males.
Personally, I love to play with the curves and hair more on a female... not only that, there's a model within eyes' reach; whereas, a male model requires some work in obtaining.
