My Drawings and Tracings

I figured that since I'm uploading some stuff on Deviant Art, I'd share some of the things I've done. So far I've only posted 2 drawings since they were recently made. Both are fan drawings of characters.

I can't call them drawings when they are traced. You didn't make them, you simply copied them, but it's a start ;3

Nice work, get a scanner if you're going to be serious about it.

Prinny was traced, I just traced the outline for Hazama and drew the rest myself. You still don't approve of that? TT___TT

Did he buy it with his own money? Or was it a gift to him?

If the answer is no to them both, then he should fuckin' let you use it to scan a few fuckin' things.

Wellllll, then there's nothing to complain about... when you get money, save up to buy a scanner. As bullshit as that sounds.

It's still crap, though. I let him use all my stuff without even asking him to ask and such.

Relationships are never equal unless the two parties work together in pounding out their difference. If you don't tell him what is wrong, he will never know; but you cannot scream at him out of anger either, otherwise your words will not reach.

A misunderstood communication happens all the time. Hell, my ex used it on me when we had an argument after our separation. "You were always high maintenance, selfish, pushy, and controlling. I didn't like it when you...." (Pauses and thinks) Actually, I don't remember what he didn't like, but it was something that I did not know that bothered him. He never told me, so he was trying to blame me for doing something I did not know that bothered him.

All I can say is, don't whine about something that you did not try to solve. No one knows how you feel nor do they know what you think. It's not common sense, it's not easy to put themselves in your shoes... we were given verbal communication for a reason, to speak our mind and feelings. I admit, some things are hard to convert, but the only thing we can do is try. It may sound harsh, but I'm not the type to sugar-coat things (maybe to small children). So do your best, and if he still doesn't understand, I guess it's up to you what happens next.

Don't bottle it up ^___^ Vent and release, if you don't want commentary, just tell me. I'll still listen tho ~

I actually tried to open up to him and tell him, but he's like "Whaaaaaaaaaatever." I don't think there's any helping it. He simply just doesn't stand me for goddess knows what reason.

Colored pencil?

Uh huh. I think it came out okay.

It's not bad; the scarf looks rough tho... it might be the device used to take the image, but it still looks like you printed it out in black and white, and just colored over it.

Color Prinny was a second tracing and I colored him in. Scarf was rough because out of all the color pencils, I couldn't find a dark red, so I used my mechanical pencil and mixed red into it.

Well from my point of view, the defination of a drawing is something drawn, and now these a drawn - tracedly drawn traced drawings! And oh I hadn't seen the Hazahama yet, nice work!

I like the different styles you're trying too ;3

To make eyes more natural, try an almond shape.
For anime, the lower lid is shorter than upper lid for the most part.
Develop your own style if you can ;3
Experiment with them! Study them and try to figure out how it works... how did the artist do it in a way you can too. That is something I always ask myself when I come across something new or something I need improving on. What did they do that was different from what I did? It takes years, not months.

Having a bit of a hard time with that because Photobucket changes what kind of image file it is (JPEG, GIF, that stuff) and DeviantART won't accept the new files after I edit and download them.

Do you have any art program?

Photobucket should not change it, but then again, I use .png, so I'm not sure.

Found a solution to the empty right side by adding some stuff.

Now here's my first attempt at a chibi.
