Haiti and overpopulation.

Is it heartless to not care about those in Haiti?

I see people donating left and right to them, crying for them, pitying them.... so is it heartless for me to 1) not care, 2) think it's nature's way of dealing population, 3) thinks people should think about their own financial situation before tossing hard earn money to help. They're kinda screwed either way, they say even a dollar helps, but is that really true?
Really... a dollar... but then again, I guess it would add up since we have so many people in the world.

Discuss about Haiti... and if you have someone you know there, then discuss how much of a bitch I am for thinking this way.

Other here might disagree with you but I can't say I do. On the contrary, I agree with you. 1) I'm heartless regardless of the situation. 2) I'm poor. 3) People die every day.
Don't mind my crude, rude, evil comments but the population is to high. People die everywhere, every day, at any time. Same goes for the homeless. I still don't see why people deserve special treatment. If nature wants them gone, so be it. Don't interfear with it. And yes, I'm looking at it from the perspective of if I was in their position.

Our population is indeed too high... hell, fucking China with freaking skyscrapers as housing. Hong Kong freaks me out because of all the high buildings. When something happens, it's gonna be like dominoes.

But, yes, I do agree... I don't quite understand why people help the homeless. It's a good deed done, but some of them are faking it. Tho, honestly, I don't know what I'll do if I sink that low... but I guess being a woman has its advantage in the state of no money.

Same goes for jail. Even tho they are keeping our criminals off the streets, they are using our tax money to feed, clothed, and god knows what else... water, soap, towel, bedding, what else? I just don't think we need to treat them well like that. Hell, they can see a doctor and a dentist! If they weren't in there, they wouldn't even get the chance. But this is from what I heard, not sure if they're facts. And I realized I just went off on a few topics here, sigh.

well if he population is to high it is really there own fault as a whole, and now that you mention prison.... if you are poor rob a store, it will end good ether way. and only at the cost of your personal record.

I agree with you guys. It's all just Natual Selection, so I also tend to have the same feeling for those with mental retardation, physical setback, and so forth. If you can't live without intense support, then you shouldn't be using up an unfair amount of resources compared to the rest of the world. We only have so much, why waste it?

I was told by the science teacher we're supposed to be running out of natural resources in our generation. Probably about when we're 50 years old.

Water, it seems like they're working around that with hella filters. Oil, they are working on some alternative solution. Air... yeah, we're screwed with that, except for those in the very open areas like farmers.
