Lmao, none of them have colors... they either don't have anything (because it you turn to turn on the water) or it only has black lettering of H and C.

Mine says Hot on the left side and Cold on the right side... when I turn the thing to the left... Hot water comes out...

The only thing in my house that's like that is our thing for the shower upstairs, and hot water is red and on the left and cold water is blue and on the right.

But really, I've never encountered that problem. Only thing similar in a way is the fact my Mac 10 BB gun's settings Safety and Fire are labeled S for Fire and F for Safety. That's how my friend broke it, by putting it on Safety and trying to fire.

I think this handle is from like the 80s.

I just took a shower, and the knob starts at the bottom... when you turn it 180 degrees, it's still cold water, you have to give it another 20 degrees before the water gets any decent. 30 degrees for scorching hot, and all the way for burning hot water. ^__^

No H or C there, same goes with one of my bathroom faucet and my kitchen faucet. It has been very common sense over here that if there's a knob to the left is hot, and knob to the right is cold.

I believe it's safe to say, Tennessean plumbers are all dyslexic...

I think I've encountered one of those knobs where you turn it till it gets from cold to hot, as Asakura was describing. My current one just has the two sides. Pull the knob handle thingy outwards to turn it on, and the farther you go left or right, the hotter or colder it gets.

Oh, I know those too, I didn't like them... the pulling out part was not very friendly to me ;<

What was wrong with pulling it out?
