So, I just started watching the English version of Spirited Away and the dubbing isn't bad, I like it actually ;D However, the single fact that still bothers the shit out of me... her name Chihiro became Sen. What the shit. Due to the fact that I am not Japanese and the fact that I cannot read Japanese Kanji, I cannot understand how Chihiro became Sen.
The first time I watched Spirited Away, it was in Cantonese, and it actually relates back to her original name... it's like Yubaba took Chihiro and said, your name is now Hiro.
Anyways, I stopped watching after she signed her name and was given the name Sen instead. Veoh was pissing me off. What I remember liking is a quote from the Boiler Man, "Finish what you have started". There are a lot of great quotes in this movie that I probably would never get around to it unless I finish the English dub; so I'll probably get on that as soon as Veoh stops being an ass. It also gives the lesson of don't eat/take what you did not have permission to take; greed will be punished.
I feel that this movie has been watched by everyone, and if not, you should consider youtubing or veoh it. It's quite good, after all, it's a Miyazaki movie.
