| Linkage to teh page.The United Nation's Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women would like Japan to ban video games and anime that depicts violence against women and rape. According to the committee: "The sale of video games or cartoons involving rape and sexual violence against women which normalize and promote sexual violence against women and girls" must be legislated against at once.
