I didn't notice that until just there, I was putting stove in 2 as well!!!

Suppose that the word "duck" and "goose" had the same number of letters. For example, if duck had a silent P before it like this "pduck".

That would make it very hard to distinguish. In a puzzle where little to no detail is added, this could prove traumatic for children everywhere! Having guessed it was a "pduck" due to them being more common, it could result in the child having a breakdown due to other words not fitting around it.

I'm joking, as always.

But you really have to wonder... What are the government up to?

I didn't think the crossword company would actually accept that design.
