Guys, I'll be honest with you. I've got a crush on someone. Yes, this person is real, and yes, this is serious. She's an artist I really like and want to make friends with. Problem is she isn't on often and doesn't respond too much when she is on. Not only that, I'm getting a huge crush on her, but she's 21, I don't know where she lives, and has a boyfriend. I'm really depressed right now because I'm basically in a love situation that simply won't work. It'll never take off, she doesn't know me much, and I don't get to talk to her much. It's seriously eating at me and I'm living in a powder keg giving off sparks. I just don't know what to do.

Sure, age doesn't matter, but you have to think of her as well... does she mind dating someone younger than her? Do you mind dating someone older than you... in society, in some culture, it's looked down upon when the man is younger than his woman.

Crush, that is something form from admiration... if you don't love her, don't bother chasing after her (especially since she have a boyfriend). Sure, there are those who aren't having a good relationship with their current boyfriend... and that would be a good time to 'steal' her away, but generally, you have to established something with her already before you can do that. However, taking that extra step further will lead you BOTH down one to two paths (this is after you've gained her trust and all).... she will feel awkward around you because you confessed your feeling, avoid you, and then maybe straight up not talk to you anymore. Or, she uses your kindness.......... OR, she accepts it, dumps the old one, and goes out with you.

Tho, if you have a crush on her, I suggest you try to be a good friend before inching towards the boyfriend title.

Friendship - you talk about just about anything, but your feelings and sometimes, out of courtesy of the other person, what happens behind closed doors.
