Alan runs up to Rey and is about to attack, when suddenly he starts doing Thriller and running around with his arms extended.

He continues to do unpredictable stuff like Caramelldansen, Peanut Butter Jelly Time, The Lucky Star and Haruhi dances, and Beat It.

T ditches the Alan power (in the form of a cat-eared orange hood he'll don at a later date) and pulls out a pointed green pajama hat. When he puts that on, he gets the Link power (which he got years ago).

And with that, he begins-a chargin' his spin attack.
(Hang on...is Thriller a Final Fantasy move that blinds?)

My power looks like a Kaka clan jacket hood? Awesome! I thought it'd be my signature hat, but that's cool!

Alan uses the Ball Buster from God Hand on Rey before he charges the spin attack.

{To do the Ball Buster, turn to the right until your back faces the enemy, then lift your right leg back and nail them in the crotch with the bottom of your foot}

See, had I chosen any other character...that'd-a been mighty effective. As it were it's not too much different from a normal attack in other respects. Knockback for sure, though.

T throws the sword away and pulls out a hatchet.
T throws the hatchet away and pulls out a Fire Flower.
T throws the Fire Flower away and pulls out a baseball bat.
T throws the baseball bat at Alan and pulls out a baseball.
T holds the baseball in his hand, jumps at Alan, and pounds him with it.
