On a side note...I've never played a Phoenix Wright. I tried my hand at Apollo, but I couldn't beat the first court case; I couldn't see what I was trying to prove.

It's easy. All you do is find a contradiction in the testimony being delivered by the witness that goes against the evidence and present that evidence.

EXAMPLE (You probably know what to do, but still here's an example)

Court Record

Attorney's Badge - How long have I yearned for one of these? Just looking at it makes me feel ready.

Postcard - A postcard sent to the victim before the murder.

Pistol - The murder weapon. Was fired twice at the crime scene.

Testimony:

1. I was there at the shop the day the murder took place!

2. When I was looking around inside the place, I heard two men arguing.

3. As I came closer to the door to hear them more, I heard a bang!

4. A gunshot! The defendant killed the victim with a single bullet!

Can you find the contradiction in this testimony that goes against the evidence?

2 shots fired =/= single-shot kill, right?

Yep, that's the contradiction. You find out stuff like that. That's all you gotta do. Personally I thought Apollo Justice was easier than all the others. The cases aren't as long, and unlike the 2nd and 3rd you don't present people's profiles, which greatly reduces how much useless evidence you have.
